Q: iPhone 6 iOS 9.2 -Bluetooth handsfree disconnects Honda Civic

I have a iPhone 6 iOS 9.2 which I connect to the Bluetooth Handfree in a Honda Civic 2013

During telephone calls the bluetooth seems to disconnect and the radio/hdd/cd kicks back in for about 5 secs

Then the bluetooth reconnects and the call continues for 30 secs or so ...then disconnects again

Very very frustrating

 

I had a iPhone 5 when i first purchased the car and I had no issues whatsoever.

 

I have tried the options suggested elsewhere in these communities of Deleting profiles in the iPhone and in-car

This has not resolved the issue at all

 

Any other ideas/Fixes ?????

    I have this same issue. I was connecting and staying connected in the Oct. 2015 timeframe. And then I took a couple of IoS updates and the problem is occurring regularly.

     

    The phone disconnects, then reconnects about 10 seconds later. However calls are disrupted as the phone switches from car to to phone and back.

     

    None of the linked article suggestions are working

     

    Any insights or pointers to deeper technical support greatly appreciated.

    When was the last time that the Bluetooth firmware in your vehicle was updated?

    Same problem here. My iPhone 6 does connect with my 2015 Acura TLX but I cannot switch calls.

    Also,y wife's iPhone 6 often goes into private mode with her 2015 Honda Accord.

    Both phones have the recent IOS update installed.

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
