Q: water in imac

i had my g5 imac in storage. in the box. i just found that the roof had a small leak that has been dripping onto the box. how can i dry it out? can it be saved?

Take it to Apple for inspection, it may not be possible to save it, is it insured?

Don't turn it ON while there is moisture inside. A short-circuit may cause more damage.

The earlier iMac G5 models (without built-in iSight camera) had a back that was easily removable.

If your iMac G5 is like that, take off the back. Remove any obvious moisture. Then, let it sit with back open in a warm place for (at least) a few weeks.

it is an imac with a widescreen display. i was going to try and open it to air out
