Q: Is there keyboard shortcut to take a screenshot and simultaneously put in copy/paste buffer

My question: Is there keyboard shortcut to take a screenshot and simultaneously put the content into the copy/paste buffer rather than a file?

If not, is there a shortcut I am missing.

 

My current approach is Cmd-Shift-3 or Cmd-Shift-4, take the screenshot, open in Preview, Select All, Copy, go back to Word, Paste, delete the screenshot file, and repeat. There has to be a more efficient way of working.

To save your screenshot to the Clipboard instead of a file on your desktop, use Command-Shift-Control-4.
