Feb 28, 2016 2:28 PM in response to Momomoeshby Old Toad,With the amount of information you've provided it's impossible to offer a solution. We can't see your computer so we need to know the details of your problem and setup, i.e.:
- what system are you running?
- what version of iPhoto are you running?
- what is your workflow in exporting the slideshow? What options are you given as a format? Provide screenshot of the export window and what you're seeing.
- what name and extension does the exported file have?
- what fixes have you tried?
- where is your library located?
- did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
- are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
- what type of Mac?
- how much free space on your boot drive?

Feb 29, 2016 3:52 AM in response to Old Toadby Momomoesh,Never mind. It turned out that someone in my family had loaded an Adobe suite several years ago and Photos defaulted to that. I deleted it and can now view slide shows in QT. Lesson -- keep your family away from your machine!!!
Sorry for the panic
