Feb 29, 2016 9:01 AM in response to rosedaveby FatMac>MacPro,If a website insists on needing Flash Player, only go directly to Adobe to download and install Flash. Getting it from any other source can make you victim of a scam. Also, if you have other extensions for your browser, they will sometime interfere with Flash's operation.

Feb 29, 2016 1:47 PM in response to rosedaveby Linc Davis,A genuine alert that Flash is outdated and blocked is shown on this page. Follow the instructions on the page in that case. Otherwise, the alert is not trustworthy and someone may be trying to scam you into installing malware. If you see fake update prompts on more than one website, or if you've already followed one of the fake prompts, ask for instructions.
