Q: Will audiobooks sync with how far I've read in the ebook?
Kindle ebooks and audiobooks will sync? Will Apple's do the same?

Hi AnOrphanGrlScout,
It looks like you are asking two questions .... will your audiobook remember where you left off listening; and will your audiobooks sync from your computer to your device. The resources below will explain the "yes" to both questions. I've highlighted the key information for you here. Click on the link for complete details.
iBooks features
Listen to audiobooks. iBooks can play audiobooks purchased in the iBooks Store or imported from other sources. iBooks will remember where you are in the book when you stop playing so that you can pick up where you left off later.
Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes using USB
- Turn on syncing. You can turn on syncing for Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Books, Audiobooks, Tones, Photos, and Info. To turn on syncing, click the content type from the list under settings, then click the box next to Sync. If there's a check in the box already, syncing is turned on for that tab. To turn off syncing, uncheck the box.
- Sync your content. Click the Sync button in the lower-right corner of the screen to sync your content. Only the information in the content list you've enabled syncing for will sync to your computer. If you make any changes to any of the settings, first click Apply. You can also sync your iOS device over Wi-Fi.
Enjoy!
