Q: User List in Server App??

I'm finally starting to tinker with newer Server app (hoping my 10.6.8 Xserve survives long enough to get everything moved over).

 

In older Server Admin there was a popout drawer that could list all the users and groups to add them to permissions, group assignments, etc. That seems to have gone away.   Am I missing something or do I have to systematically press every letter of the alphabet just to get all names to eventually appear so I can choose who I want?

Luckily, you are missing something.

 

With Server.app open, go to the Window menu and choose Show Accounts Browser.

 

That will give you a window with all your users and groups.  Shift select to grab a contiguous group and command select for non-contiguous.  Then drag and drop them into the group member container.

    Thanks for the feedback.  Sorry.  I was getting hit by a bunch of bots so the "Answer to Everything" is 42.  This is from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
