Q: ipod shuffle file not supported when syncing

Hello,

The past couple of times I have synced my ipod to change some songs around, iTunes has been giving me a message that certain songs can't be copied over because the file type is not supported. What changed? Because the songs that I literally listened to on my ipod earlier today are the songs that are no longer supported?

I remember something like that coming up...  Try quitting iTunes and relaunching.  Then try syncing again to see if this problem still recurs.

If that does not help, does the error message gives specific names of songs that do not sync for this reason.  If so, find one of those songs in your iTunes music library.  Do a right-click Get Info on the song.  On the Info window File tab, what does it say for Kind?  Also note Bit Rate, in case it matter.

That appears to have fixed it! Thanks!
