Mar 1, 2016 11:41 AM in response to MicroSSGNeoby gail from maine,So, I take it that the prefix before the @me or @iCloud are different? If they are, then they are two separate Apple/iCloud IDs, and they cannot be merged.
Sorry

Mar 1, 2016 5:11 PM in response to MicroSSGNeoby gail from maine,Something is amiss then. If the prefixes are the same, then the iCloud account should be the same account as the @me account. If you go to Apple - My Apple ID and log in with the @me User ID, do you see the @iCloud email listed under "Reachable at"? What happens when you log in with the @iCloud account at that link?

Mar 1, 2016 6:05 PM in response to MicroSSGNeoby MicroSSGNeo,I have iTunes Match subscription in the @me.com account, but I haven't used that in years, but I only log into the newer @icloud.com account. No wonder I haven't been getting all of my music...

Mar 1, 2016 6:43 PM in response to gail from maineby MicroSSGNeo,When I log into the @me.com the @icloud.com account is there and vise versa.
So why I think I have 2 accounts is that my "nick name", purchases, songs, etc. are different between the 2 logins - not to mention my Match subscription which I want in the iCloud account.
In the absence of merging the accounts, I can shut down the @me Match and activate it in the @iCloud - but certainly I'll lose $25 in doing so...

Mar 1, 2016 6:48 PM in response to MicroSSGNeoby gail from maine,When you log into the @iCloud account is the @iCloud listed as the user ID or is the @me.com listed? Here's why I am asking - if I sign into that site with my @me user ID, it shows @me as the User ID. If I log into that site with my @iCloud user ID, it still shows the @me as the User ID.
You might want to call Apple iCloud support to see if they can help. These two iDs should be a single account, so it just may be the way you have things set up that is causing the issue:

Mar 1, 2016 6:50 PM in response to gail from maineby MicroSSGNeo,it is listed as the @me.com in both, I'm presuming because it came first and the protocol then was to log into the newer iCloud for the merge. I'm not sure if what I have is right, but it's not what I think of when talking about "merge"...

Mar 1, 2016 6:58 PM in response to MicroSSGNeoby gail from maine,★HelpfulOh, well, no - that means you only have one Apple ID. So, it is now just a matter of getting your setting set up correctly. You indicate that you have signed up and are paying for iTunes Match. Do you also subscribe to Apple Music?
I would say that if you were presented with the option to merge your music when you signed into the @me account, that you do that and see if that syncs up the two.
If not, then I would suggest you re-post this question in the iTunes forum to see if some of the experts there could help you get this resolved. You definitely only have one account.....

Mar 2, 2016 8:46 AM in response to gail from maineby MicroSSGNeo,thanks for pointing me to the iTunes team, which got me to a Senior Support Dev dude.
You are not going to believe what the issue was...
My payment method was compromised a couple of years ago, yes, 2 years ago and was still the listed payment method. They said sometimes this causes the two accounts from acting as one. As soon as I entered a valid payment method, everything synced up perfectly.
Now the question is, how have I been making purchases for 2 years with an account that was closed...

Mar 2, 2016 5:17 PM in response to MicroSSGNeoby gail from maine,Wow - how weird is that? Thanks for posting back with what you found out. It is very strange that you have been able to make purchases, since, in theory, there was only the one payment method on file.... (maybe you got all of that stuff over the last two years for free!!! ).
This is definitely one for the books. Thanks again for sharing what you found out!
Cheers,
