Q: Is there a way that I can block calls from a contact but still receive text messages from them?

I'm trying to block a contact from calling me but I'd still like to be able to receive text messages from them. I've been able to block everything (facetime, calls, and texts) but have not been able to block just calls from the number. Any tips?

iPhone 5c, iOS 9.2

No.
You could always set a unique ringtone for them ('silent' ringtones are available) that you could just ignore when they call.
