Mar 2, 2016 5:29 PM in response to joubranby CreepingDeath666,I am having the same problems. Space just disappears. Do you think it could be whatsapp then? I have been restoring from iCloud and losing up to 3GB of space a day when my phone isn't in use other than sending whatsapp messages

Mar 2, 2016 6:38 PM in response to Sbyrne1984by ElvaXiao,I think you need restore your iPhone via iTunes. I had the same problem before. But after restoring iPhone via iTunes, everything goes well.
Get your device ready
- Check that you have the latest version of iTunes on your Mac or PC.
- If you want to save the information on your device, make a backup.
- Go to Settings > iCloud. Turn off Find My iPhone.
Restore your device to factory settings
- Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
- Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to your computer with the cable that came with your device.
- If a message asks for your device passcode or to Trust This Computer, follow the onscreen steps. If you forgot your passcode, get help.
- Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod when it appears in iTunes.
- In the Summary panel, click Restore [device].

- Click Restore again to confirm. Then iTunes erases your device and installs the latest iOS or iPod software.

- After your device restores to factory settings, it restarts. Now you can set it up as new.

Mar 2, 2016 11:40 PM in response to joubranby bwani,Yes.. Whatsapp is the culprit here.. I was too facing the same storage full issue and whatsapp(latest update on 1st March, 2016) was eating all the storage. After removing whatsapp, everything is working fine.

Mar 3, 2016 12:54 AM in response to joe_7399by SMPascoal,I am facing the exact same issue with my iPhone 6 Plus. After deleting lots of old videos and photos plus apps i really don't use i had about 5GB freed and after +-20mins while on whatsapp it started prompting low storage again... which i found impossibe that so much space had been taken up again... so i went to Manage Storage it says used 55.2 GB BUT when i add up the used space per app it DOES NOT add up to 55.2 GB.
I hope this gets fixed ASAP. Thanks

Mar 3, 2016 1:36 AM in response to SMPascoalby ChanWeiZhong,Hi this morning I've contacted Apple Support and received call from Apple which we discussed a bit about this issue.
In the end, I'm told to backup and restore my phone to factory settings. I'm going to share my experience here.
Yes I backed up my phone using iTunes and restored it using iTunes also. You have all the personal informations and app data inside but you'll have to redone load the app yourself. After doing so and redownload all the app I used to have, yes indeed I've cleared most of the space and have 5.5GB space. I'm happy and took a nap.
I just woke up and realize, I have 2.1GB left. Seriously ?
Hope Apple can address this issue and thanks to Micheal from Singapore Apple support for the guide provided.

Mar 3, 2016 3:30 AM in response to Sbyrne1984by chriss911,Hi guys
Im experiencing the same problem with iphone 6 16GB cap. I basically deleted evthg taking up space: no photos, no huge apps, no music..
everytime i delete smthg the freed space keeps getting "eaten" by smthg. whwn i go to manage storage the apps sizes dont add up.
Something is really wrong, I realized smthg, this problem started after updating the latest whatsapp version, any particular reason for this?
Any thoughts?!

Mar 3, 2016 3:48 AM in response to chriss911by Ash2leo,I had the same issue. My 8GB free space went to Zero in minutes. So tried this. Go to settings>Safari> Clear History and website data. All 8 GB came back. Weird but it worked.
