Q: iOS 9 update has stopped iCloud notes being accessible on Windows

Since I updated my iPhone 6+ to iOS 9, my nearly 400 notes on iCloud that remain visible on my phone are no longer visible on my Windows 10 machine, nor on any Mac I own, nor at the university at which I teach, where the OS is the now out of date Yosemite.  When I try to load them using Safari or Chrome or Firefox, an error message comes up saying the notes could not be loaded, and a link to 'Report to Apple'.  Until this happened, I had trusted iCloud to look after my data, and my notes were used to save research information for later use on other platforms, but no more.  Another shortcoming of Notes is that you cannot save them en masse to a Word.doc format for safekeeping.  They have to be manually copied and pasted 400x (in my case).

I called Apple Support about this, and was informed that the only OS where I will now be able to view notes is El Capitan.  What do others think of this decision?

Mac OS X (10.7.5)

If I try to add a new note in a web browser, it will not save, despite the message stating "Notes is saving your changes".  Even after 8 hours waiting, this error still comes up.

Below are the error screens that come up when I try to load iCloud Notes:

Latest development is "Slow script has stopped this working" followed by an offer to "Send report to Apple":  While trying to post this update, many more "stopped working" messages appeared. Moreover, the site told me errors had occurred and I may have been logged out.  On refreshing the page I found I was still logged in, so Apple don't appear to know whether I am logged in or not.  It says i am logged in now (see screenshots) but I may not be according to Apple, also.  The site also refused to accept this error report, claiming there were 'invalid characters" - which I assume to mean the text i copied and pasted from Apple's Debug scripts, yet it still auto-saved the allegedly invalid content.  I'll keep trying and edit bits out as I go if Apple still thinks its own code is invalidScreen Shot 2016-03-03 at 13.22.29.png.  If it still doesn't work, i'll just make  lots of screenshots of Apple's "invalid" code and post them here.  There is also no logic to the order in which images are posted here and they can't be moved around.  There is also the problem that a message comes up briefly with a link to refresh the page, but by the time you've read it, the message has vanished - there is a close button, but the message closes anyway before you've had a chance to read it.

I can only express horror at Apple's shoddy site construction and appalling coding that as a professional person with better things to do, I have had to waste  half my day on this non-functional company.  For now, to get this to post, I am stripping out all of Apple's self-admittedly "invalid" code just to get the update to post.  Meanwhile in another browser, Notes continues to have jammed with a stalled cogwheel.  Next I had an issue uploading a screenshot, which Apple named, not me, yet according to Apple its filename contains "invalid characters"!

Here are some sample images of the debugger code - couldn't get this field to add the Reply without Apple crashing it: From longstanding experience, I know Apple don't read feedback from this site, so it's just here for us to argue amongst ourselves, but if anyone else would like to look at the source code, I have saved it in a text file.  I had to save and then edit this message because the Error message obscured the ruler contain the edit options (screenshot).  Also, I cannot post this reply edit because the Reply button has vanished.  I will hope for an auto-save and then refresh this screen.  See screenshot showing the screenshots edit cannot be saved because of a missing Reply button. What a MESS!

Screen Shot 2016-03-03 at 14.06.55.pngAfter I gave up hope of iCloud ever completing the search of my Notes, I closed the page, and even then ANOTHER "too slow" script came up, which of this I decided to choose "Stop script".  then ANOTHER script came up, saying the same thing.  Screenshot could not be attached because the Camera button is now greyed out.

Oddly enough, after I saved the edit, and then edited again, the Camera icon un-greyed itself and so here is the screenshot after all.  Again, there is no Save Reply button under this edit field - see screenshot:
