Q: Problems with syncing contacts.

Hi,

I recently moved over to an iPhone 6s+.

I maintain my contacts list in good order on my iMac and when I perform a sync with my iPhone some contacts and their information isn't pulled across to the phone.

Case in point this morning, went to send an SMS to someone I know is in my Contacts database, but could not find them on my phone. Double checked that their info is in the Contacts app on the iMac and confirmed they were.

I also have it selected that I sync with my iCloud and the Contacts checkbox is selected, could this be throwing things out ?

Basically I would like to set it up that the master contacts database is held on my iMac, that my iPhone matches to that, and if I enter a new contact onto either my iMac or iPhone it syncs that new information across both devices.
