Q: Mobile accounts in Snow Leopard 10.5.8

I run a small network with 6 minis. Two are older mini1.1 models and run only Snow Leopard 10.5.8.

I would like nevertheless to have them bind to my Server, latest built and use Mobile Accounts for login.

I have figured out how to do this with newer hardware. You create the accounts on the server and activate "Mobile Accounts" on the client machines and push that with a profile to the administered clients.

But Snow Leopard does not let this happen. It's to old.

HOW do I activate Mobile Accounts on Snow Leopard?

    I figured it out.

In Profile Manager make a GROUP with MOBILE Accounts settings set to "create Mobile account".

On the Snow Leopard Client log in to one of the accounts, in the preference panes Accounts, choose "create mobile account", this is only active now, after you joined this accounts on the server to the Group MOBILE.

    That's it.
