Q: Photos will not open iPhoto library on external drive, already "migrated."
I moved my iPhoto library to an external drive, upgraded, then "migrated" the library to Photos with the drive connected. I once opened Photos without the drive connected, and there is a "Photos" library of 9 apparently random photos. Now, Photos will not open the old library with the drive connected. Is there a way to change which library Photos is accessing?
Here is the warning I receive: The content of the iPhoto library “iPhoto Library” has already been migrated to Photos. Open Photos to view your library or use a compatible version of iPhoto to open this iPhoto library.
(But it does not open the library on the external drive.)

Lauch Photos with the Opiton key held down so you get this Open window:
Look for and select the library that is located on the EHD and click on the Choose Library button. The location of the selected library will show just below the window.
