Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I see there are some unexpected lines on your iMac display and you're wondering if it's related to a video/graphics issue. The Genius Bar can definitely help diagnose hardware symptoms, and in the meantime here are some troubleshooting steps to try:
Reset the NVRAM (also called PRAM on some Macs)--How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac.
Try starting up to another OS X volume if possible--Starting from an external USB storage device (Intel-based Macs).
Try starting up to OS X Recovery and using Disk Utility--Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck.
If you see lines on the screen when starting up to another OS X volume or Recovery mode, you can also try OS X El Capitan: Use Apple Diagnostics or Apple Hardware Test.
All the best.

Understand that your iMac does not have a "graphics card" as found in tower computers with expansion slots. The graphics hardware is integral with and soldered to the logic board. Some iMacs made before the Late 2012 models had removable gfx hardware but it was proprietary, not the simple PCI/AGP/PCIe cards found on computer store shelves.
Your gfx chipset looks like this:
It's the tiny spots on the board under the heat sink that the hand is holding.
If you have blown your gfx chipset, you will need a new logic board.
