Q: How to disable ipv6 on latest Time Capsule?

I have Cox internet and they are telling me I need to disable IPv6 on my Time Capsule for my internet service to properly resume.  Anyone done this before?  The only options seem to be disable ipv6 sharing, but I need to disable ipv6 on the actual networking of the device since it hooks up to my cable modem...

Not on a Cox connection, but this should work until Cox fully implements IPv6.  From the number of posts that we have seen....they have yet to do this.

    On your Mac......

Open Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility

Click on the picture of the Time Capsule

Click Edit in the smaller window that appears

Click the Network tab at the top of the next window

Click the Network Options button near the bottom of the window

Make sure that the setting for Configure IPv6 is set to Link Local Only

    Click Save

Click Update at the lower right and give the Time Capsule a full minute to restart

At this point, it would be good idea to power off both the modem and Time Capsule.

    Wait a minute

Power up the modem only....and let it run a few minutes

Power up the Time Capsule and let it run a full minute

    Check the network
