Q: Email login failure

my macbook pro indicates my gmail has a log in failure. However when I check on mail accounts it shows the password and account are active. Any help on getting my macbook pro to show my gmail like all of my other apple devices would be welcome

Gmail uses IMAP so the messages stay on the server. Try removing the account from the Mail app then adding it.

If you prefer to troubleshoot instead use the Mail Connection Doctor.

Above the listing of emails on the right side is a message - Login failure!
