Any wall charger with a USB port will work. That is because USB voltage is always 5 volts. For charging is a reasonable amount to time you want a charge that puts out at least 10 watts/1 amp (1000mA).

I use my iPad charger that puts out 2.3 amps for all my devices. Higher amps does not damage a device since the device limits how many amps ae used.

    Hi,

I would like to use this offical Apple product for my iPod Touch 6th gen so that I can connect it with numerous

    devices.

    http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD821AM/A/lightning-to-usb-camera-adapter

Has anyone try to use it since its not "officially" supported for iPod Touch line products?

I've used the SD card reader to lightning cable and it works just fine. Since this is sold in the Apple Store it's probably more accurate to say that Apple supports the cable, just doesn't guarantee that every camera you try to connect using that cable will work.

The ability to read off a camera or camera card is predicated on the camera following a very strict naming convention, a folder named DCIM and every file within that folder having an 8 character name....such as DSC_3453.jpg

Most cameras should do that, but there may be some out there that don't.

If you have further questions it may be better for you to make a new thread instead of tagging your question onto another one about a different topic. IT makes things confusing when a single thread has multiple questions by multiple users. And if you make a new thread with a more specific thread title you're more likely to get a timely response.

Skydiver119   did you use CCK on an iPod touch? Only in IOS 9,2 did app add compatibility to iPhones. before that is was iPad only.

I misread so I apologize. I just tried it on my 6th gen touch and it comes up 'this accessory not supported'

Maybe I was thinking of my iPad.

It's not supported to its blocked from working. Or it would be more accurate to say that the iOS for the touch lacks the drivers to acknowledge that the accessory is plugged in so the touch has no idea what to do with it. And since there is no independent driver installer you're stuck.
