Q: Is this real?  Says my apple account is on hold. It sure looks real. But has errors in spelling

received email from Apple.

 

SAys my Apple account on hold Due to incomplete info. Wanting to update system

   several spelling errors.

IF I click on my account it has correct logos etc.

i didn't go any further and didn't sign in

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2.1

    It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message to Apple.

    It's a scam. Don't click on any links or give them any information whatever. If you want to check up on your account go directly to http://appleid.apple.com . Apple don't send out messages like this (and any messages from Apple will come from the apple.com domain - though this can be forged - and will address you by name, not 'Dear Customer' or similar). If they suspend your account - which they will only do for security reasons - they won't email you: you will find out about it when you try to access it and would need to contact them.
