- If the file is small, attach it to an email and send. May want to right-click Compress it first (into a .zip file)
- If the two Macs are nearby, use AirDrop

- Turn ON and use File Sharing

- Copy file(s) to a USB flash drive and hand it to the other Mac user.
I'm sure there are other ways.
