I understand that an app you are using is not working they way you expect. I am not familiar with this specific application, but the following article has some great troubleshooting advice to try and isolate and resolve application issues.
If an app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open - Apple Support
Follow the instructions to restart the app, restart the device, check for updates, and delete and reinstall the app. If the issue continues, you may want to reach out to the developer of the application. Instructions for doing this can be found in the same article.
