Q: Photos transfer and select more than one photo on my iphone
Can I really only select one photo at a time in iOS El Capitan?
I had a Samsung Galaxy - I could just touch on a photo and a Tick sign would appear in top right hand corner. I'd then be able to do the same to multiple photos and e.g email, dropbox, delete.
I wish to plug in my iPhone to my Macbook and with my laptop...
> open up the photos folder on my iPhone.
> select the photos I wish to transfer
> delete photos from the iphone
the iPhone seems to want to copy all photos over?
Then I get a message saying not possible - not enough room on dropbox. But what has dropbox got to do with this??
This is strange to me my experience is XP, PC 2003-2015 and prior to that loyal Apple Mac user from 1998-2002 (when it was the superior intuitive platform)
Please advise! I am feeling very frustrated. This should be a simple procedure.
iPhone 5, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3), Macbook Pro to iPhone - come in!

Not sure what you are doing exactly, but you should be importing your photos to the Photos app. When you connect to import, all new importable photos will display. If you do not want to import all of them, then you can click on them to select the ones you do want to import (this is all done in Photos on your Mac).
If you are using Image Capture, you would follow the instructions in this support article:
Image Capture: Transfer images and other items from your device
Either way, you are doing the selecting on the Mac, not on the device.
Cheers,
