Q: Family Sharing with Different Aged Kids

As I understand it, if you have Family Sharing set up, anyone in the family can download items that are purchased by going to the "Purchased" tab. I know how to prevent my kids from seeing the Apps that I am downloading, but how do I prevent my one child (under 10) from putting the Apps his older sister is downloading on to his own iPad? I have it set up so that he has to ask me to approve any Apps he is trying to purchase or download, but there is nothing that I can find that will stop him from getting the Apps that his older sibling downloads.

Am I missing something? I have received requests that are for Ages 12+ from him, and his age is correctly identified on his account as being under 10 years old.

Thanks in advance.

For the sisters account, make sure a password is assigned and have her sign out of her account when done.

We each have our own devices and our own Apple ID. They have their bios set up and their ages are indicated, but if the youngest goes into "Purchased" he can download anything that is there except my stuff, because I can actually check a box to prevent it.

He also sends me App requests for stuff that is 12+, which makes no sense to me, because his age is clearly listed as being under ten.
