I just downloaded iTunes 12 it scanned for media and found my ring tones but there's no folder for it.

Shouldn't it have its own playlist?

    Hi, teday.

Thank you for the question!  I understand that you have imported ringtones from your computer and you are not able to see them in iTunes.  Tones in iTunes are usually labeled with the file extension of .m4r and if they do not have this extension then they would be music files.  Are you able to verify that these files have that extension?  If these files have been imported into iTunes, you can locate them in C:\Users\username\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Tones.  If these files aren't in this folder then the article below will walk you through how to locate them.

Locate and organize your iTunes media files

You may also want to try to import these files again if they have the .m4r extension.

iTunes 12 for Windows: Import music and video already on your computer

The interface for iTunes 12 has also changed, so let's see if they are located in the Tones section of the more option.  This will reveal the pop-up menu which will allow you to select different media in your library.

    Using the new iTunes

Let me know if you are still unable to locate these tones and thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

    Cheers
