Q: iOS 3.13 Chrome

I want to download the chrome app to my iPod touch but when I go to the site it tells me I need the latest version of iOS.

Is it possible to download a version for 3.1.3 (latest version of iPod touch 1g) and if so where do I find the older version because the iTunes store only shows me the latest version.

iPod touch, iOS 3.1.3

Apple doesn't keep older versions of apps.  I'm pretty sure Google still has all of its older versions, but I'm not sure they would be willing to give it to you.  Even if they were willing, you'd have to jump through all the hoops of ad-hoc distribution, including sending them your iPod's UDID (unique device identifier).

Apple's App Store can offer older versions of apps (if the developer makes available).  When you try to download an app, and the latest version is not compatible, you get an option to download an older version that is compatible (if available).  Unfortunately, that feature is not in App Store if your version of iOS is 3.1.3.  It is also unlikely that the developer is still supporting a version of the app that works under iOS 3.1.3 (or if such a version ever existed).  An Internet search indicates Chrome for iOS was first released in 2012.  That is well passed the time when iOS 3 was the latest; it is unlikely that a version that ran under iOS 3.1.3 ever existed.
