Nov 24, 2014 1:26 PM in response to stevejobsfan0123by mdb288,I am not shooting the messenger...
but that seems disappointing...
i can make the alert for a phone call be 1 out of ?50 different ringtones...but i cannot make it be mute...(without muting the whole computer)...
it is just annoying to have both my phone and my computer ring...the phone is in my pocket...my wife is watching tv in another room...the laptop is on the coffee table next to her...i get a phone call and the computer next to her starts loudly ringing...very annoying...
any alert on my iOS 8 i can mute without muting the phone...
oh well...
again...i thank you

Mar 12, 2016 2:19 AM in response to mdb288by TheTimeTraveller,+1 This would be a great feature to you. I have the same issue and my brother has to turn off the ringer when I’m working in my own room and the mac is in the hall. He tells me at one point he considered disposing my mac.
