Q: Apple TV does not recognize ID or password
Apple tv does not recognize ID or password. How do I fix it?

I have had this issue too with Apple TV v2. I contacted apple support and they advised me to go to id.apple.com and login and turn off two step verification. Then go and setup the Apple TV. When done, simply re-enable two-step verification. It's a real pain to do, but it did work for me.
