Q: Unable to File Share.

Is there some trick in getting a folder to be shared?

In the Sharing pane in System Preferences I check File Sharing. I then click the + button in the Shared Folders: list, select a folder to share and click the Add button.

Nothing seems to happen.
I'd expect the folder I just selected to appear in the Shared Folders list.

Ideas?
