Pretty sure no backup will be possible now. Recovery and DFU mode can get you back up and running, but without your data.

Before an unplanned or unexpected events is when to make a backup.

    Hi yesoyaso,

I understand your iPhone is stuck in Recovery mode, and you have information you need on your iPhone. Please try following these steps:

To try and leave recovery mode:

    1. With a computer open iTunes
    2. When you see an option to Restore or Update choose Update
      • Please note that iTunes will try to restore your iOS device without erasing any data.
      • Wait while iTunes downloads the software for your iOS device.
      • Please also note that if the download takes more than 15 minutes and your device exits recovery mode, you'll need to repeat this steps and then choose Restore instead of Update when you get back to this step.
    3. After the update or restore completes set up the device.

    I hope this helps you.

    John

This says that if i am in recovery mode i can update without losing any data or content but Does this popup message mean that if it cant update i cant go back to stuck on apple logo or dfu or recovery?.

Because i have so much stuff here that id rather keep the phone and just buy a new one.Untitled.png

Honestly, it's a bit late to be concerned about it now. You don't have much choice. You can try to update it. If it works, great... If not, anything new since your last backup is gone.

It will let you try again but if it didn't work the first time it's not likely to work the second time, either.

This explains your error. If you see Error 3194, Error 17, or 'This device isn't eligible for the requested build' in iTunes - Apple Support

Are you trying to force iTunes to use a different ipsw file? If so, this is causing the error.

What do you mean by different IPSW file, no it got downloaded directly from itunes.

What I mean is that many people will try and download the iPhone software file (ipsw) from other sources, to try and force the installation of a file they want to use. In that case, you will see the error that you reported.

If you followed the steps in the support document link I provided and still cannot get the device to work, then you need to contact Apple Support, or make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store to have them assist you.
