Q: I can see but cannot add to the family sharing calendar. What am I doing wrong?

My daughters iPad and iPhone both won't allow her to add to our family calendar. She can see the calendar. I've tried a reset and logging out of both devices. It works on my sons devices.

iPad Mini, iOS 9.2.1

WIth your help, I figured it out. I couldn't delete the family shared calendar or access rights through the computer. I searched for the view and edit feature which was on my iPad. I opened the calendar app and selected the info icon next to the family calendar. This gave me the option to add her as an editor. Thank you.

Maybe she got the read only permission?

Delete the family calendar on her device(s) then
Use your computer browser and login to
https://www.icloud.com
Send her a new family calendar invitation with read and write access.

As the owner (creator) of a shared calendar, you assign edit privileges to the invitees to control who can modify the calendar. There are two types of access privileges that can be assigned:
