Q: Is there a way to use Aperture 3.6 with sony alpha 6300 RAW files?

I just purchased a SONY Alpha 6300 and find that Aperture 3.6 does not function with RAW files from this camera. I can import the files and in some cases see them as thumbnails with Aperture 3.6, but I cannot display them or edit them. Is there a way around this probem? I know Aperture is no longer supported by Apple.

Not directly until Apple release RAW support for the camera - for now you can use the SOny software to process the images and save them and import to Aperture

Apple's Digital Camera Raw update 6.19 now supports Sony Alpha ILCE 6300. This update is in the Updates for OS X App Store as of 21-April-2016.
