Q: My iPhone 6 with magnetic car mount and Bluetooth

I have an iPhone 6 and use a magnetic mount in the car but also use a Plaintronics Legend Bluetooth headset. I've recently noticed that my phone does crazy things when using Bluetooth.  The "mute button" turns on randomally, but today, while talking in the car, the phone automatically went to google hangouts, picked a conversation and started texting 2 letters, it also  pulled up my contacts and picked someone from my list and highlighted them, it also self dialed someone in my contacts while I was talking.  I'm thinking it's the magnet Because this is all pretty recent.  Anyone have some thoughts or logical explanations?
