Q: Change audio resampling

I'm on Motion 5.2.3, OS X 10.10.5 ...

I'm trying to output a simple credit roll sequence with some music under it, but the audio keeps getting resampled to 44.1kHz (original audio is at 48). My system/audio interface is set to 48kHz, which, as per Motion 5's documentation, means that the outputted audio should be at 48kHz.

Am I missing something, or is Motion always going to force the resampling?

Thanks!

Open Utilitiles (from Finder, select Go > Utilities or type command-shift-U).

Open Audio MIDI Setup. Find your audio interface in the left column and select it. Check the Input and Output settings. Are they both 48kHz?

Note: If you're checking the Export Summary info, it might report the exporting audio as 44.1, but it should be saved at 48k (at least it was in my tests.)

In fact, it was what you said ... reported as 44.1, but bounced as 48... very weird behavior, but I assume that's just a programming oversight. Thanks for your help!
