Q: Keychain First Aid appears to be missing after 10.11.2 update!

I've been having some Keychain issues since the 10.11.2 update and decided I'd try Keychain First Aid but it appears to be missing from the menu. Anyone else seeing this?

First, run Disk utility on the MacHD.  Click First Aid.  Then, In Finder click on Go.  Press the alt-option button, and Libraries will appear on the dropdown menu.  Open Libraries and move the Keychains folder to the desktop.  Then restart the computer.   You may have to re-enter your Apple ID password or others (in my case, my Google password).  It took me several restarts for this to work.  Once it works, you can trash the Keychains folder you moved to the desktop.

The above steps do not work for me.  Basically, Apple instructed you to rebuild your entire keychain folder, which means you will be asked multiple times in multiple places to enter your login info again.  You're rebuilding Keychain from scratch.  I did that but I still don't see the First Aid command inside the "KeyChain Access" menu (just below "Preferences...") at all.  That remains true regardless of which keychain I selected in the left "Keychains" sidebar.

Sorrythat didn't work for you.  Bite the bullet, and call Apple Support.

Apple will tell you it was removed by 10.11.2 update.

I think I found an easier fix. I ended up going to Finder/Go/(Hold down OPTION)/Library/Keychains. I deleted the contents of the folder. Then I entered Time Machine and restored the contents of the folder from an earlier time. Afterwards, I went to System Preferences/Internet Accounts and manually input my passwords for my e-mail accounts-- not in the pop-up requesting the password but in the actual password field for the accounts. That fixed everything.
