Q: iCloud Photo Library

Hi,

I'm using iCloud Photo Library across my "i" devices and MacBook. Here's the question. How do I delete some specific photos from my MacBook while still keeping them in my iCloud? I tried to delete the photos on my MacBook but everytime I delete photo, it's also being deleted from my iCloud. I just doesn't want some pictures on my MacBook but I'd be comfortable if it still be kept in iCloud Photo Library.

I'm sorry if I post this question under wrong thread. Please share me the correct link.

Thanks.

Munkh.

I'm pretty sure what you want is not possible. The iCloud Photo Library is a mirror of what is on your Mac (and devices). There isn't a way to pick and choose what is uploaded to iCloud.

In theory, I suppose you could create a second Photos Library and use that to store the photos you don't want in iCloud.
