Okay, I'll trade my iPad 2 for your iPad 3. It's a good deal. Trust me.
Bob couldn't do that if he wanted to do so. He has an iPad 4. He was merely pointing out that an iPad 3 or newer has Siri capability.

I read the book "1984" and loved it...learned a lot. But the movie is horrible. How can I delete it from my list? Just hit Edit and then delete? Actually it looks like it's not downloaded now, but I really want it off my list.

Mar 16, 2016 2:23 PM in response to amemberby Demo,You can't delete a purchase from your purchase history. You can hide purchases, but you have to hide a purchased book on the computer.

Mar 16, 2016 2:35 PM in response to Demoby amember,Okay, I can understand why I can't hide anything from "Purchased" but are you saying that I also can't hide the movie title (1984) on my iPad?

Mar 16, 2016 3:00 PM in response to amemberby bobseufert,Thanks for the offer but you don't want a iPad 4. Watch the announcement below for the latest and greatest.

Mar 16, 2016 3:06 PM in response to Demoby bobseufert,I saw your name in the earlier discussion. Interestingly, because you replied on the original you're automatically following the branch.

Mar 16, 2016 4:39 PM in response to amemberby Demo,I'm sorry. I saw "book" and never saw the word "movie". My old eyes are getting worse. If it has the cloud icon next to it, it's not on the iPd so you can "hide it" by going to Settings>Videos>Show iTunes Purchases>off.

Mar 16, 2016 5:09 PM in response to Demoby amember,Your are forgiven. HA Now, if I turn on "Show iTunes Purchases...won't that hide all of them?

Mar 17, 2016 8:40 AM in response to bobseufertby amember,The link you gave took me to a page that said, "Let us Loop you in...." and then said to come watch something on 21 March. Is that the link you meant to send?
Why do I not want an iPad 4?

Mar 17, 2016 9:37 AM in response to amemberby Demo,Bob means that something better might be coming in the fall and often times, these announcements are made in the Apple Spring Keynote address.
IF you turn off show iTunes purchases, that only hides the items in iCloud. Whatever is actually on the device will still appear in the app.

Mar 17, 2016 10:02 AM in response to Demoby amember,Thanks for that.
I did the Edit and the X appeared only on some movies, so I can't remove the movie from my list that I really wanted removed. Anybody know why some movies don't have the X?

Following up on what Demo has already said because there was no iPad Air 3 introduced last fall there are expectations of a new iPad to be intoduced, available soon.
The iPad 4 is a very good iPad but startding to get dated. I highly recommend it, if you want one get one, you just can't have mine.

Mar 17, 2016 2:55 PM in response to bobseufertby amember,I've had tons of trouble with my iPad 3 'touch' feature. I honestily can't say if it's the Invisible shield or the iPad but it's been just awful for more than a year. Doesn't make me too keen on getting a new one for another 1K. My original iPad never had these problems. Anyhow, that's another matter entirely. My video is working great and I'm happy about that.
