Mar 16, 2016 8:22 PM in response to Axpmpby TaylorSwift16,That's strange! It's most likely out of battery, so try plugging it in. Maybe it just needs to be charged. If the iPod is working correctly, a picture of the battery will appear largely in the center of the screen showing that there is very little battery left, and soon the iPod will turn on. If nothing happens when you plug it in, wait 10 minutes. If nothing happens still, I would recommend calling apple support or going to the Apple Store. There may be a problem with your iPod and it's probably broken if the battery thing doesnt work after 10 minutes. Don't worry, I'm sure Apple will be able to help you and get your iPod fixed. It could also be some kind of iOS 9.2.1 glitch, because I've heard there are a lot of glitches with iOS 9 (even though I've never experienced any on iPhone or iPad). Sorry if this didn't help.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
