Q: I'm a Gamer who would Like to Game on a Mac!

I am more of a PC Gamer. I sold all I used to game on console with a PS4 but I still prefer the accuracy I get out of a Keyboard and Mouse. I absolutely love Apple's design in their Computers and their operating system, and I am willing to live with the restriction of Games on Steam that aren't compatible with OS X. Or more than likely I will BootCamp it and use Windows 10 just for the games that aren't on OS X. But besides the point, I'm still looking for a Mac that has 2GB of VRAM with NVIDIA or I'll even go with AMD. I have considered a Hackintosh but I want to support Apple, I want to have their design with no bugs, and I want the experience of the Mac and it's flawless design physically, and software. All I am looking for is an iMac or even something like a MacBook Pro that has 8GB of RAM or can be upgraded to 8GB, 2GB or more with GDDR4 or GDDR5, Intel Core i5 Dual-Core 2.8GHz or more or i5-i7 Quad-Core 2.5GHz or more. And I am willing to spend up to $1500 on this Mac. I don't care what year it was released in, as long as it mat

You can click on any Mac model at Apple.com

    https://www.apple.com/mac/

and then click the link for Tech Specs (upper-right corner of web page for Mac model).  To see the price for various configurations, click the Buy button.  You can also look at the "Special Deals" page for refurbished units that may be available.

This web site also has a well-organized tabulation of tech specs.  For iMac models

If you want to game, forget the MacBook Pro. Most notebooks regardless of make and/or configuration run very hot due to their construction limiting the size of fans and airflow passages. My MBP can spike in under a minute from a normal 100°F to 150-160°F when I run games, even with the fans speed artifically bumped up 50 percent. A chill pad helps very little. Not a problem with my 27-inch iMac quad-core i7.

Boot Camp tends to run about 10F hotter on my iMac than on native OSX so so you might see a bit more heating playing via BootCamp.

Also realize that the forum in which you posted is for Mac minitowers that were not made after 2005, so you may wish to ask in the iMac forums to get more help with current configurations.
