Q: Should I turn on TRIM for Samsung 850 Pro?

I just installed a new Samsung 850 Pro, installed a fresh OS X 10.11.3 and can't figure out if I should enable TRIM or not for the drive.

When I open System Report, in SATA/SATA Express section I can see the drive but it states "TRIM Support: No". Does it mean trim won't work for this drive anyway and I shouldn't bother or is it a standard message for a non-apple SSD?

Mac mini (Late 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3), Samsung 850 Pro SSD

Some SSD's have an issue using trim.  I believe the Samsung Pro is one of those drives.  The non pro works fine.  The "no " you see just means trim is not installed and it will change to yes if trim is enabled but I would not if using the pro.
