Q: function keys

What is the meaning of the function keys (F1-F19) on the extended Kboard?

Sure. If you want to take a screenshot of a window, first press cmd-shift-4, that changes the arrow cursor to a crosshair, then release those keys and press the space bar, that changes the cursor to a 'camera' then click on the window you want a shot of. It will save the file to the desktop.

However this looks so complicated... And I still do not know how to catch a copyscreen...
(I tried 'ctrl+shift+cmd+3' as detailed into 'System Preferences' but no result)

Welcome. To capture the screen you press command+shift+3. To capture part of the screen you press commend+shift+4 then select the area you want to capture.

If I press cmd+shift+4, how can I use the screen capture?
I tried to cmd+v on a blank page but nothing appeared...

cmd+shift+4 does not copy the image into the clipboard. cmd+ctrl+shift+4 does. Regardless, I don't know what "blank page" you are trying to paste into.

Incorrect, cmd shift 4 copies the selected image to the clipboard

Dear Dialabrain,
You did exactly what I desperately try to do: to take a 'picture' of a window (Keyboard / Shortcuts / Screen Shots) and use it in another application (Email, Word, etc)
Could you explain me step by step how it works?
(I tried = shift-cmd-4 but nothing happend afterward...)
