Q: my wife and I each have PC laptops and we want to combine the data from both to one MAC. Including two Itunes accounts. Can this be accomplished using the migration asst on each PC?

With regards to transferring data from a PC to a MAC, my wife and I each have PC laptops and we want to combine the data from both to one MAC. Including two Itunes accounts. Can this be accomplished using the migration asst on each PC?

    you could link the apple ids together using family sharing. if you are having trouble doing this, you could go to the apple store, and they would be happy to help you there.

    You may be able to migrate each PC user's information into separate OS X user accounts in the same mac

    and then choose to share itunes and other system related software through the Apple IDs. PC user's migration

    would likely occur after setup, since there usually is a first user account, that is an Admin by default.

    This is something the Apple store should also be able to help you to setup. -- If they understand the question

    correctly. Depending on how things are done, results may vary. + Be sure to keep a backup of the PC content

    and learn how to backup (at least two different methods) your created content from your Mac. Not just Time

    Machine archives; a separate backup storage drive for each, of sufficient capacity.
