Q: I keep trying to restore my my ipad because I forgot my passcode but it says its not connecting to a network. How do I fix this?
I lost my Ipad about two years ago and just found it in my closet. Somehow I got all my pictures off of it so now I'm fine with restoring it so that I can use it again. Everytime I try to restore and update it it starts going for about 5 minutes but then stops and says something about the network not working. My laptop has had perfect wifi each time so it must be about the Ipad. I can't connect the Ipad to wifi because I've tried guessing what my passcode might have been so many times that it says connect to itunes. How do I fix this so that I can restore it?
iPad mini Wi-Fi, iOS 8, Im not sure if its actually ios 8.

I would start by making sure that you are running the latest version of iTunes. If you aren't running iTunes 12.3, download it and then try again.
