Q: Randomly dropped from my wifi connection, pasword twice

I have been getting dropped from my wifi at home randomly, It has been happening for a month now. I have to turn off my wifi by clicking the icon on the top right corner of my screen and then reconnecting. This seems to always help however doing this every 10 minutes or so gets very annoying, and this has never happend until about a month ago. I am also having this thing happen where I close my computer like just flap the screen down and when I go back to log in it will let me type in my password and then, it will seem like its about to load but then it will ask me for the password again so I have to type in my password twice. I don't know if it makes sense or not, this as well has never happend until recently.

Is there anyway to see if maybe my computer picked up a virus or something?
