Q: iPhone Photos

If I delete photos that are on my iPhone 6 plus that are already been backed up in iCloud  will it delete the copies in iCloud as well?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.2.1

    It depends on what "delete" means (from where?) and what "backed up" means (photos are not included in an iPhone backup to iCloud).

     

    So if you delete photos from your Camera Roll, that should not affect iCloud.  If you delete photos from a Photo Stream or iCloud Photo Library, then they are deleted everywhere.

     

    UPDATE - Correction to what iCloud backs up:

    So if you use iCloud backup, do not use iCloud Photo Library, then your photos will remain on your iCloud backup if you delete them from your iPhone.
