Q: function keys

What is the meaning of the function keys (F1-F19) on the extended Kboard?

Sure. If you want to take a screenshot of a window, first press cmd-shift-4, that changes the arrow cursor to a crosshair, then release those keys and press the space bar, that changes the cursor to a 'camera' then click on the window you want a shot of. It will save the file to the desktop.

(I used the numeric pad in place of the classic KB)

Glad it's working. The number keys should work without resorting to the number pad. Do you have a non-US keyboard?

well that explains that.
There has to be a way to use the numeric keys but I wouldn't know what that would be on your keyboard, Glad the keypad works.
