Thanks for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.
I see you're not able to add, edit or delete music on your iPhone. What message do you see in iTunes when trying to sync, and are you still using the same computer/iTunes library?
Your options for managing music on your device can depend on the way it was set up in iTunes and whether you're using other features like iCloud Music Library.
You can find some helpful steps and information on syncing and managing your music at these links:
Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes using USB
Sync Apple Music across your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and computer
Best Regards.

There is no special/new message when I attempt to sync. I am using the same computer/library as before. This is completely new.
I can still right-click on the songs, and get info, etc., but it will not let me move/edit/delete/add anything.
I have been using this iPhone6 for 1.5 years now, so nothing should have changed. I have iCloud Music turned completely off in my Settings.
I have been using iTunes with my iPods for 10+ years across various platforms, and consider myself rather iTunes/iPod savvy. I have never run into a problem such as this.
Any ideas ??
Thanks.

Okay, when synced I just went to 'Summary' and scrolled down and noticed that the 'Manually manage music & videos' box was not checked. I checked it and clicked 'Apply' only to be met with the following warning:
"The iPhone "Jason's iPhone" is synced with another iTunes library on "AESOPBIRD". Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library? An iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library."
My question now is, if I go ahead and "erase this iPhone" will it delete ALL of my photos and app data I have saved ? Or will it delete ONLY the music ??
Thanks.

Thanks for your reply.
It looks like you're seeing a message regarding syncing to another iTunes library. Choosing the "erase" option will remove content that was synced from the previous iTunes library, as mentioned in Move content from iTunes on your computer to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. In your case, it seems like this may be music and photos. Photos taken on your iPhone and app data shouldn't be affected.
For more help with this situation, see King_Penguin's reply in the thread My laptop is saying i have another itunes library, how do I find it.
All the best.
