Q: What, if any improvements with Photos 1.5 just released?

Hi, I'm still hanging on to Aperture. Will have to move at some stage. Will be looking at Photos and Capture One Pro. Ids Photos getting better with each update?

The only change to Photos I've found is listed in the system update notes, About the OS X El Capitan v10.11.4 Update - Apple Support , which is:

Addresses an issue that may cause RAW images to open slowly in Photos
