Q: iPad restrictions on image searches

I am a teacher and we use the iPad Minis at our school. Is there any way that I can prevent inappropriate images from showing up in student searches? We recently had an issue with this, and I want to make sure that it doesn't happen again.

    Hi Miss_P.,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that you would like to restrict what images are shown while searching. If you are referring to searching while using Safari, the only way would be to restrict Safari completely from being used.

When you restrict Safari, it removes the application from the home page and it cannot be accessed without the restrictions passcode.

Depending on the images or sites that are being searched, you could try to restrict Websites as well to Limit Adult Content or allow content from only specific websites.

More information on restrictions can be found in the following article.
