Q: After Slide to Unlock

Ok so I had an IPhone 2 for a while, worked and didn't have a problem with it until the mass IPhone updates started coming out left and right. I figured well its time to get a new IPhone and this should solve the problems (sucker), well I was wrong in that area. So now its doing it again. I can't keep resetting my phone ever day and I have had it for a while. So what's the fix? please help me cause I'm about to activate my Krazer flip phone.

iPhone 5, iOS 9.3

In your rant, you failed to add what your issue is with your new phone and if you respond back please add details of your issues.

when you use the slide to unlock and get the letters on the screen to type your password, they get solid bright white around the letters. You hit the letters and nothing types. I can hit the button on the top to start over and swipe again but it just repeats itself. Sorry for the rant, I just miss the old days when stuff worked really good, like the android before it got the IPhone OS.

As most people don't have this problem, it's likely that there's something going on with your phone. What troubleshooting steps have you taken? I'd start by removing the passcode and adding it back. Restore from back up. Restore as new.

Androids do not have iPhone OS.

So, from what I'm gathering you must have set an alphanumeric passcode according to step 3 in:

Use a passcode with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

otherwise you would just see a numeric pad.  Are you SURE you are entering the CORRECT passcode?  The only other suggestion I have is this link:

If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

It looks like the only way around this is to erase your device.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

By the way are you the ORIGINAL owner of the phone or did you buy a used one?

If it is not used and you are SURE you have the correct passcode, maybe you should make an appointment at the Genius Bar at an Apple Store and let them look at it.  You should not have to be resetting it every other day or so.  There may be a hardware problem.
